Over the past few decades there is of little doubt that people’s attempts to find love and the ‘dating scene’ have changed drastically. What were once love letters scented with favourite perfumes and CD mixed tapes have now been replaced with texts, swiping right or left, and sending links to downloadable playlists. How has society gotten to this point? And what does society in this day and age now think of love and the digitization of it?

Downloadable Love is a documentary focused on observing and noting the changes the dating scene has made in recent years due to the evolution of dating apps and the overall digitization of finding love. The project will mainly be composed of opinion pieces the people of the public can reflect on themselves.
